50 STATES. 50 PROTESTS.
1 MOVEMENT.
WHO WE ARE
KENTUCKIANS STANDING TOGETHER
On February 5th, 2025 we gathered at our State Capitol Building in Frankfort, KY to protest in opposition to the unconstitutional actions taken by our current administration. What started as 50 protests, in 50 states, on one day has grown into many state specific movements.
50501 KY is an entirely volunteer, grassroots group of Kentucky residents who organize nonviolent, peaceful demonstrations in opposition to Project 2025, the dismantling of the Federal Government by Elon Musk, DOGE, and President Donald Trump.
By standing together, we aim to counter divisive tactics and protect the integrity of our democracy. Our grassroots approach means every voice matters—and every volunteer effort builds the foundation for meaningful change.

Our next protest
On April 19th, we say No Kings Then! No Kings Now! Join us for a statewide protest in Lexington.

Join us on Saturday, April 19th for a peaceful march and protest to say "No Kings Then! No Kings Now!" in honor of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
We encourage everyone from across the state to come and use their voice to oppose the actions of our current administration.
This is an outdoor event and street parking is available around the courthouse plaza, in the library parking garage, and paid parking in the courthouse garage. We encourage all who can to carpool!
We will begin invited speeches promptly at 2pm, followed by a march, before returning to the plaza for 1-3 minute long personal testimonials by fellow Kentuckians.
This event is organized by a coalition of Kentucky groups: 50501 KY, Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance, KY 120 United-AFT, Gathering for Democracy, Bluegrass Activist Alliance, and Progress Kentucky. United we stand, divided we fall!
